Take time today to make sure your workstation – or where you spend most time during the day – is arranged to suit your needs.
You can suffer discomfort if you’re using furniture or equipment incorrectly.
If you have a sedentary job, try taking regular breaks and move around more than usual.

My ‘workstation’ is just your normal, run-of-the-mill office desk: computer, phone, paper trays, desk tidy, pin board covered in not-so-work-related stuff. I’ve had an assessment before to make sure my computer screen is at the right height, my chair is set up properly and things like that. Today I did a quick check myself to make sure everything was still feeling comfortable.
I also used the arm stretches from the 3rd to get up from my desk more than usual.
It was good to be more aware of my immediate surroundings at work – making sure I was comfortable and making an effort to move around more than usual actually made a nice change.
