Do this as many times as you can throughout the day.
This maintains good circulation in your lower limbs.

I’m feeling quite smug … a whole month of wholesome activity and fitness under my belt! Today’s activity was a simple one, and I’m getting more used to taking little bits of time out for exercise.
All in all, my super-healthy January has been great. At times it’s been a bit of a struggle to get motivated, but on the whole the activities were easy to fit into my days and I can definitely see the benefit.
There are a few that I will try to carry on throughout the year: looking after my posture by standing and sitting up straight; all the stretching exercises (forwards, backwards, sideways and upwards); breathing deep; the leg lifts and squats; exercises using the water bottles; varying the way I carry my massive handbag; and setting a good example by dragging other people along on my walks. These are the activities that appealed most to me and suited my lifestyle best.
