Stand up straight
When you’re standing up today, make a conscious effort to straighten your posture.
Stand evenly on two feet, keep your back straight, clench your buttock muscles and hold in your abdomen.
It’s important to maintain good posture at all times for general wellbeing.

Only three days to go! I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for almost a month already. Plus, after last week’s scepticism, I tried a new pair of jeans on yesterday and had to ask for the next size down because my usual size was too big! I have no idea if the Happy New You plan has anything to do with it, but I was thrilled anyway.
Today’s activity showed me how much more aware of my posture I have been this month. Keeping an eye on it today was really easy, because I think I’m a lot more conscious of it in general.
I’m also starting to notice other people’s posture, and that sitting or standing with one’s back straight and shoulders back looks more attractive than being all slouched. Let’s hope I can keep it up!
