Reach for the sky
Sitting or standing, hold in your tummy muscles and reach your hands as far as you can, then relax.
Repeat 10-15 times.
This will stretch the muscles in your chest, upper back and shoulders, helping to relieve tension.

What better after days of feeling ill and having no energy than to have a good stretch?
I’m relieved to say that my cold is on its way out and I’m feeling more energised. I should be able to finish off the month with more commitment and enthusiasm now.
I did the stretching first thing this morning to help wake myself up and again when I got home from work. I definitely felt it loosening up the muscles across my shoulders and chest, and relieving some tension.
