Exercise while you sit
Whenever you’re seated today, squeeze your buttocks and pull in your abdomen.
This will strengthen your muscles and help you maintain good posture even when you’re sitting down.

An appealing name for today’s activity that didn’t fill me with dread and send my body into re-energised bouts of sneezing and shivering - seated exercise I can do!
My posture’s been suffering while I’ve been unwell, just because it’s an effort to hold myself up straight when my head's really bunged-up, so it was good to feel more upright today. Holding in my muscles and sitting up straight became easier as the day went on and I got into the habit.
